I forgot to count but a significant number gathered at the building on New Year's Eve to play games, eat snacks, drink coffee and just enjoy the fellowship as we awaited the new year.  At midnight we joined hands and "rang in" the new year in prayer.  Thanks to all who came for an enjoyable evening and a wonderful start to 2012. 

Twenty one of us went on a Life Support trip to New Pathways for Children in Melber, Kentucky on Saturday November 19, 2011.  For some the morning began stuffing 1100 envelopes, for some the morning began cutting down and then cutting up a multitude of trees - for me it began with the realization that I should have sharpened my chain saw.  By the end of the day, many, many trees - dead or severely damaged by ice storms of the last few years had been removed.  Everyone worked very hard and diligently.  As well as cutting down trees, we also made some new friends and even left our maul with the home so a few of the young men could hone their wood splitting skills.
